Oriental stone lanterns have graced temples, gardens, and homes for ages. Here I use that precept to explore a combination lantern and water fountain that is intended as an ornamental addition to a garden. Within the concrete lantern is a light source that glitters through a surrounding curtain of vertically cascading water that ends up in a surrounding pool. |
