HOUSE 71

This house is a another variation on Houses 61, 81, and 83.The key elements of this four bedroom house are the corner bedrooms. Each features a glass wall that opens upon a window garden atop a grass berm. The garden plane lies just below the bedroom window sill which is about the height of the desktops within the bedroom. The real enclosure for the bedrooms are the 'floating' brick walls surrounding the garden. In other words, the garden becomes a part of the bedroom. These walls blend with the overall architecture of the house. The living room overlooks another garden, this one featuring a waterfall, both of which are tucked in between the living room and the garage (see plan).
