FALLS HOUSE

This house utilizes fountains, landscaping, and pools as major exterior architectural design components in a way unprecedented. The house becomes integrated with the site's natural landscape. Also featured are skylights along the main building axis, and several interior pools and fountains.The skylight screens are concrete as are the unique roofing components. Walls are masonry and concrete.

Ames Guyton has a Master's Degree from Columbia University and has over thirty years experience as an architect, having worked for some of America's most distinguished firms, including Marcel Breuer, one of the founders of modern architecture. He has toured Europe many times and has spent six months in the Orient. He has photographed many of Frank Lloyd Wright's buildings.
