I aspire to develop an architecture that satisfies not only our traditional functional requirements, but also our need for beauty, serenity, and dignity. My architecture attempts to fit comfortably within the natural landscape, retaining the benevolent beauty of nature while taming its occasional harshness. An architecture that brings us into harmony with nature lifts the human spirit and brings us peace.

Ames Guyton is a licensed architect in the state of Florida (AR0008309). He is registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He has a Master's Degree from Columbia University, and has over thirty years experience as an architect, having worked for some of America's most distinguished firms, including Marcel Breuer, one of the founders of modern architecture. He has toured Europe many times and has spent six months in the Orient. He has photographed many of Frank Lloyd Wright's buildings as well.
