The unique feature of this house is the interior garden-courtyard located in the center of the house. The living room, den and bedrooms all have expansive views to this garden which has landscaping, pools and high ceilings with skylights above. These rooms also have expansive views of the yards around the house. This house is a variation on the theme of integrating the interior with the external landscape.

Ames Guyton is a licensed architect in the state of Florida (AR8309) and is registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He has a Master's Degree from Columbia University, and has over thirty years experience as an architect, having worked for some of America's most distinguished firms, including Marcel Breuer, one of the founders of Modern architecture. He has toured Europe many times and has spent six months in the Orient. He has photographed many of Frank Lloyd Wright's buildings as well.
